Associate Professor in the department of Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology.

BA in geography and Islam studies (Hebrew University, 1991); MA in geography (Hebrew University, 1995); PhD in geography (Hebrew University, 2001); Post-doctorate (Toronto, 2002).

Research Areas: Pilgrimage and tourism to the Holy Land in the modern time, Holy sites, tourism in historical cities, Zionism and the sea.
